Like many potters...

All it took was one class in a pottery studio to begin this journey. Clay is challenging, frustrating, fun and so rewarding. There is always something new to learn, and the knowledge of potters who have been artists for years and years is astounding and inspiring. I've got so much to learn, but I'm happy you are here to see the journey.
My pottery is made in small batches at a local clay studio in Longmont, Colorado. The clay community is one of the nicest you'll ever meet and I'm thrilled to have found this studio. The pottery is made with a high fire stoneware clay body and kiln fired to cone 10. I prefer working on a potters wheel over hand building so all of my pottery is wheel-thrown. All pottery and glaze is food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
